Arriva Transport Solutions Ltd working in partnership with the NHS is looking to engage with existing Voluntary Car Service (VCS) drivers and new VCS drivers, for non-emergency patient transport in the South West. VCS drivers will help transport people to and from their routine hospital and clinic appointments.

To become a voluntary car driver you must:

  • Hold a full clean driving licence and have at least 12 months driving experience
  • Own a suitable 4-door car (with valid MOT and insurance)
  • Be contactable by telephone
  • Not suffer from a condition that prevents you from driving
  • Undertake an enhanced DBS check
