‘Being heard in the new NHS’

A mental health conference in Taunton at Somerset County Cricket Ground on
Friday 21 September 2012.

This one day conference will bring together new decision makers in the NHS and social care system with people affected by mental illness. It will offer an update on what changes to the NHS will mean in practice for people affected by mental health problems, and facilitate discussions around how meaningful involvement of those who use mental health services and their carers can become a reality in the new system.
The day will include keynote speeches from new Clinical Commissioning Group leads and people with direct experience of mental illness, as well as interactive sessions on how we can all have a voice in the new NHS and work together to improve mental health services across the South West.
