We need an energetic and flexible person with good interpersonal skills to work as a Travel Supporter. You will provide practical support for people with disabilities, (from age 14 upwards) to gain the skills needed to travel on public transport for work, leisure, social and educational purposes.
The Scheme is administered from our Semington Office, near Trowbridge, however you will be providing support to people across Wiltshire, Swindon and BANES, so having your own car is essential. (A mileage allowance is paid). There will need to be flexibility in the hours worked and this will sometimes mean early morning starts or later finishes, in order to provide the support needed.
We offer a contributory pension scheme, five weeks holiday a year plus public holidays, and the necessary Disclosure and Barring Services check will be paid for by us.
