Rheumatoid Arthritis and urban accessibility

We have been contacted by a university student called Sophie Deakin who is researching for her dissertation on the accessibility of urban areas for those that might have mobility difficulties – and more specifically those with rheumatoid arthritis.

“I am currently researching for my dissertation on the accessibility of urban areas for those that might have mobility difficulties – and more specifically those with rheumatoid arthritis.

The research I would like to do would consist of interviewing (essentially informally chatting to) people with RA at a time and place convenient for them. My study focuses more on Bath’s urban areas so it’d be great if I could speak to anyone that has visited Bath and knows a bit about what its like to get around the city.

I would be happy to provide you with any any ethical approval confirmation that you need from my university department (Geography Department, Royal Holloway, University of London). The email address of my staff dissertation advisor is also on the information sheet if you’d like to check this and the general legitimacy of the project further.   (CLICK HERE)
